Tour de HERMES
After his industrial clerk apprenticeship at HERMES, Niklas went on to the next stage at HERMES: a dual course of studies with a focus on accounting & controlling.
During his apprenticeship, Niklas found out how diverse HERMES is and was able to get to know the company well – this is where he wanted to continue his education. He asked his colleague Christian, who was already a dual student at HERMES in the marketing department, about his experiences and how to go about it. The mix of theory and practice is perfect for Niklas, which is why he also opted for the dual study programme and the next stage at HERMES. Niklas alternates between work and university on a weekly basis, and when there are no lectures he works for several weeks at a time.
In the finance department, Niklas now assists with monthly and annual financial statements in the group, reporting, financial planning, production of the yearbook, electronic banking and other small tasks. Niklas really likes the work environment because everything flows together in terms of numbers in the finance department. He also has a lot of contact with colleagues from other departments and divisions.
His biggest hobby, cycling, can be combined easily with his work. In the summer, he prefers to leave the car behind and cycle to work along the Isar. In addition to the Isar cycle path, Niklas recommends the routes around Lake Walchensee or Lake Starnberg for cycle tours.

Especially not when Niklas can share his enthusiasm for sports at work. With his colleagues from the department, Niklas sometimes goes swimming in the indoor pool in Pullach before work, or he goes cycling with Christian. Every now and then, Biolectra gives away tickets for various sporting events, and of course he likes to attend these. At the Sportcheck Run 2022, where Biolectra was the main sponsor, Niklas and other colleagues were there representing HERMES. In winter, Niklas likes to ski or go on ski tours – so the ski day at HERMES is also a special highlight for him.
