Our Commitment
United Nations Global Compact
The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) supports companies in aligning their strategies and business practices with ten recognised principles in the areas of human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption.
We have been a member of the UNGC since 2022 and have committed ourselves to integrating these principles into our day-to-day activities. To achieve this, we continuously develop our policies, optimise our processes and provide employees with the knowledge they need to apply these principles effectively in their daily work.
By reporting annually on our progress, we support the implementation of the ten United Nations principles.
Pharma Deutschland
Since July 2014, Managing Director Jörg Wieczorek has been Chairman of the Board of Pharma Deutschland. Pharma Deutschland is a pharmaceutical industry association with the largest number of members in Germany. It represents the interests of around 400 member companies, which employ around 80,000 people in Germany.

Pina Earth
The HERMES Group supports the transformation of monocultures into climate-resilient mixed forests in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg.
Together with Pina Earth, we are helping to adapt forests to the effects of climate change, increase biodiversity and store additional CO₂ over the long term.
By supporting the Lindorf forest adaption project, we contribute to regional forest protection and enable an additional 1,326 tonnes of CO₂ to be stored in German forests.
